The Petticoat Junkies is the collaborative effort of four incredibly diverse musicians from Hattiesburg, Mississippi that formed in January of 2008. Primary songwriter and vocalist, Brian Nobles, provides an edgy styling, while Cody Ruth, Davis Townsend, and Stephen Scott add a wide range of musical influences to create the sound that the Junkies have become known for. The Petticoat Junkies will be recording a full scale independent album project with twang legend Will Ray of the Hellecasters at Sunset Sound Studios in Asheville, NC in the Summer of 2008. Open to all national bookings and have adequate travel ability to do so and perform up to four hour sets with minimal breaks. The Petticoat Junkies can be contacted through myspace, ourstage.com, or emailed at petticoatjunkies@gmail.com. Also feel free to call Stephen Scott @ 601-454-7365.

Tom Waits: "I guess most entertainers are, on a certain level, part of the freak show. And most of them have some kind of wounding early on, either a death in the family, or a break-up of the family unit, and it sends them off on some journey where they find themselves kneeling by a jukebox, praying to Ray Charles. Or you're out looking for your dad, who left the family when you were nine, and you know he drives a station wagon and that's all you've got to go on, and in some way you're gonna become a big sensation and be on the cover of Life magazine and it'll somehow be this cathartic vindication or restitution." Looks like your kicking some ass in folk. It's weird how people latch on to one song and go with it. "Don't" seems to be the hit, although I
would say your other songs are just as sweet. Good luck! Keep it up!
