The Luzhin Defense was formed in 2006 by Eric Rogers pretty much out of no where. Growing up he listened to tons and tons of music as a result of his father's vast Record collection, his brother Alexis who has been playing guitar for many years with various jazz and blues bands, and just the over all open-minded-ness of his family. The Luzhin Defense was formed in 2006 by Eric Rogers pretty much out of no where. Growing up he listened to tons and tons of music as a result of his father's vast Record collection, his brother Alexis who has been playing guitar for many years with various jazz and blues bands, and just the over all open-minded-ness of his family. Years of being an obsessive listener had eventually molded Eric from collector to musician. He's now in college studying music and plans on going to school for composition. The Luzhin Defense, now with newly added guitarist Alexis, plans on recording in March of 2008 and to book gigs soon afterward.
