BIOGRAPHY Thekla was born in Lancaster England on October 8th 1983 she grew up with her mother and two sisters, being home educated and not going to school. She lived in many different places as a child and took her first job at age 11 working in cafes and doing paper rounds. Thekla at this age barely resembled the person we know today, she was a tomboy with a purple Mohican hairstyle who spent the majority of her time going to festivals and rock concerts and always getting into trouble.

At the age of 18 Thekla decided to study Sports Therapy and Personal Training at Lancaster & Morecambe College. During this time she was involved in a media scandal that lead her to be on the front pages of the national press for months on end.

After this initial experience of being under the spotlight Thekla moved to London to start afresh and work as a personal trainer. Although Thekla enjoyed her time in the fitness industry she felt something was missing in her life and that she needed to make a change in order to follow her true destiny. It was at this point that Thekla embarked on a quest that would lead her into the modelling world.

THEKLA ROTH IN COYOTE UGLY Thekla started modelling in London but soon felt the lure of the LA lights and moved to Hollywood where she was instantly spotted and offered a stunt role in the blockbuster movie Coyote Ugly.

Although it was a small role this was a perfect start for Thekla and was definitely not just another model playing at being an actress—her performance was the real thing, since it involved both her stunning looks and her love of danger.

From this came a number of US & UK screen appearances which includes the TV series The Parkers and Howard Stern’s Son of a Beach, The Priory, Paparazzi Secrets, Dream Team. Thekla moved on to shoot catalogues, calendars, commercials and major billboard campaigns and was meant to grace the front covers of the national tabloids and grace them she has: The Sun, The Mirror, The Guardian, Daily Star, FHM, Maxim, Loaded, People, Ice, Playstation, Bizarre, Arena.

THEKLA ROTH AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS Thekla won awards such as Miss Hot Import Nights, Supermodel of the year and was a Miss UK finalist. She started presenting with shows such as Cheats and Chat, Capital Extravaganza, Miss Earth, hosted events for Xbox Live, Max Power Due to Thekla’s increasing popularity she was given her very own virtual character in the worldwide release computer game 187 Ride or Die. Thekla is also now a Playboy Cyberbabe. and has been given the role of Dave Courtney’s girlfriend Isabella in the British gangster movie Clubbing to Death.

Thekla now has her own reality television series called Celebrity Stars at Work which is aired weekly on Red TV. This is a 12 month project allowing viewers and fans to see behind the scenes and enter into the real world of Thekla Roth.

THEKLA’S CURRENT PROJECTS In 2009, Thekla will soon be hitting our screens once again as host and co-writer of the much anticipated television programme Britain’s Top Glamour Model.

She have filmed her latest movie Buskers where she plays Andrea, the girlfriend of the protagonist. This movie is tipped to be a huge success so look out for its release early 2009.

She is also currently filming a new HBO series called “Trick” where she plays Tyla, an escort girl one of the four main characters. Stay Tuned!
