It‘s been thirty-two years since John Warren published t
the public, but he hasn’t been idle. On Friday, June 17th h
released his CD “SunSpot On A Simple Mind” on Briol
Records at The Boston Street Café. The CD features eigh
songs with a lyrical quality akin to his poetry thirty-tw
years ago but delivered with vocals not unlike Springstee
and with the best band this side of Asbury Park
Two and a half years ago while performing locally h
rekindled his relationship with Brian Maes, (of RTZ, Pete
Wolf Band, and the Brian Maes Band) and took the nex
step to begin recording his own songs

the album showcases performances by Brian Maes, Koo
Lawry, Tim Archibald, Tony DiPietro, along with Marybet
Maes and John Warren.
