the Ivory Tower is a Greek heavy metal band, founded by Dee Theodorou and Kostas Charalampidis back in 1992. After a long period of demo recordings, rehearsals and live appearances, the band decided to focus on the making of their debut album. The album was released in 2006, it is actually a self-financed production, which has received nothing but great reviews by the rock press in Greece. This is a concept album talking about the life of a mysterious man called Steven Towers… The group has played a number of gigs, visited some of the most well known venues in Athens and on top of all that they were selected to open for the mighty Blue Oyster Cult (live in Athens, June 5 2008). Currently the band is in their own studio composing new songs while rehearsing for a new series of live appearances.
