Hey folks: I just wrote a comment on your song: "C'mon." Which is an awesome achievment in itself. Now that I'm at your site I'm floored with all your achievements here at OURSTAGE.COM. I mean, 7 Top Tens! 4 Partner Prizes! a Critics Choice and a Showcase award. And I thought our band was doing well here!
Great band, great sound and an awe inspiring sense of melodc style and song structure.
Keep 'em coming folks. All you need is that elusive ONE song to set it off! We're trying for our's as well.
If I may I would like to put in here just one piece of constructive crtiticism if you'll permit me to.
I earlier said that your melodic style is awesome and it is, but (like me) some of the Melody lines get a bit too syrupy (is that a word?) for me. I have my brother who reigns me in when I go bonkers with melody and he gives our songs a bit more of an edgier arrangement than what I would come up with myself.
I see that a bit in your songs as well. But hey! YOUR the band with all the well deserved accolades I mentioned above, and I am just humbly giving your music a real looking at as it is VERY good and I would love to hear something from you guys with just a bit less of the Major Thirds and a little more Minor chording with some 4ths and 5th's thrown in for good measure. Just my opinion.
