The Beginning In the summer of 2007 Dan Dimick and Rocky Alexander met for the first time at their place of employment and discussed different topics until they discovered they had one thing truly in common.....music. They began getting together every week to play music solely for enjoyment. Once they realized they had been brought together for a greater good, they searched for a third member to complete what would later be known as.....the fritz. While Dan had always been a drummer and was in several bands in the past, Rocky was a guitar player who had a greater passion for the drums. Not realizing until they had teamed up, Dan told Rocky that he wanted to play guitar in a band and that was always a dream of his. Rocky's dream was to play drums in a band.....fate couldn't have been more perfect to bring these two together to recreate what we know as Rock. D.L. As time went on the fritz needed a bass player. As luck would have it, they found the perfect fit on the first try. David L. Lawler, or as you will know him as D.L., was looking to play music with a band that was all about having a good time and creating music. Once again....fate took it's role and placed the cards perfectly on the table. The Now... After some hard times and rough roads, the fritz has overcome and played many shows in the central Ohio area in such places as The Billiard Club, The Scarlett and Grey Cafe, The Basement, and The Newport Music Hall. They will continue to play for the music lovers in central Ohio as well as anywhere they can sink their teeth into. Be on the look out for them and as always support local music, no matter where you are. As we always say friends get it... HOWEVER YOU WANT IT!!
