The last hope for Swedish Alternative Rock music. Emerging from Malmö's colourful music scene, this quintet takes their music as serious their working-class roots. The last hope for Swedish Alternative Rock music. Emerging from Malmö's colourful music scene, this quintet takes their music as serious their working-class roots. Walls of guitars, solid licks, catchy melodies, heavy rhythmic beats. Honest and simply bloody good. The band was formed in late 2006 by Nate and Toby. Their debut album "As of Yet..." was released in autumn 2008. Max and Percy joined up in the end of 2008 and The Fallen Empires will release an EP with five new songs in winter 2009. After many live shows in Sweden the band went on a successful tour in Hamburg in July 09 and will return to Germany in late October 09. Another tour in Finland (Feb 2010) and one in the UK (March April 2010) are in planning. TFE are a Progressive Indie-Rock band. And in times of casting-shows, 'fast-food' pop and the terrible noise of the meaningless they remain true to their music.
