Thee AkAdemy was formed by 3 friends that had the same drive and passion for music. Over the years they ran into many people that liked to do music but only few that actually loved it. The 3 founders dared to be different in a city where different was looked down upon. Dressing in fitted clothing resulted in the team's name getting known around in the Detroit area. While watching the movie "300" the boys realized that sometimes power is not in numbers, but in loyalty and determination so they swore they would never have a big group. This group that started out as 3 young boys, growing up in the Brightmoore neighborhood gang bangin and doing wrong, turned into a successful 12 man team of songwriters, rappers, singers, models, booking agents, and managers.....With that said "Welcome to Thee AkAdemy"
