The D.O. ESOL D-Carter MOE The D.O. is a hip hop group based in Miami Florida. It all began with D-Carter and ESOL after an FCAT test in middle school. After having never previously spoken the two decided to interact and within minutes the idea sprang to develop music identities for themselves. A sudden musical spark formed the beginnings of the D.O. later to be expanded with the addition of Moe during their high school years. The three brought a great balance to the art of Hip Hop, each contributing their own unique styles, beliefs and ideas. Once high school graduation rolled up the three had to separate in order to pursue their careers. Although the D.O. did not disband it did become increasingly difficult to produce music while pursuing an education. Whenever an opportunity arose the D.O. was quick to gather to create music and art. 7 years in the making the newest and first album from the D.O. is set to release winter of 2010. It has an accumulation of the new and old from the D.O. thus showing a great deal of their growth within one album. The group draws influences from various genres and blends different elements from each one to produce a refreshingly new sound. Their works include but are not limited too Hip Hop, Rap, electronica, glitch, techno, Dubstep, Rock, progressive, and R&B.
