Chrissy Ewacha Klaas – VOCALS for The Chain fronts the band and has been an entertainer for twenty two years. Chrissy with her powerful vocal talent has opened for many acts including The Commitments, The Kinsey Report, Tinsley Ellis and George Leach. Chrissy has also been writing partners with Peter Gleeson for the last 15 years and is looking forward to releasing her fourth solo album summer of 2010.

Marvellous local blues singer, Chrissy Ewacha belted out those words from the Louis Jordan classic “Let the Good Times Roll” to launch her set and an incredible Saturday of blues music. The lyrics may be 60 years old but their sentiment of whole heartedly embracing life’s joyful moments is timeless and perfectly expressed the gala mood of the seventh annual Thunder Bay Blues Festival.
