The ARq is not only a group, but a new standard in Seattle R&B. The ARq has already claimed their independence with their first effort "Independence Day". Their second album "UNTOUCHABLE" is the complete evolution into their own sound. From the heartfelt ballad "Loving You", to their soon to be smash hit "Come Home", this duo does more than just sing a couple of good notes, they embody the essence of true R&B. The ARq is comprised of Che Blaq, a decorated producer as well as an accomplished songwriter hailing from Miami, and San Diego native Jay Dot, a songwriter showcased on many of The ARq's plethora of projects. The ARq has worked with and been featured with artist such as Casely(Epic), Plies(Atlantic), D-Sane(Not2Sane Productions/Street Level Records), Skuntdunanna aka Mafia(Skunt Muzik), Twin G, The Reallionaires, Mr. Business, RC Tha Trackoholic, and many others. They have performed in venues such as "The Bite Of Seattle", The Showbox SODO, The Contour, The Nectar, The Frontier Room, The War Room, See Sound Lounge, The Roxy, and nominated for KUBE 93.3's 2006 "Local Song Of The Year". "UNTOUCHABLE" is The ARq's first official "Retail Ready" release. The ARq's latest effort showcases their versatle musical abilities and their well equiped songwriting talents. The ARq's ultimate goal is to bring the world a familiar taste of musical expression, and to bring back music that can change live for the better.
