As we near the completion of mastering on the upcoming release we thought we would be nice guys and give you a preview of what we have all been slaving over for the past year. This is not a final master but we were so anxious to get get something to you that we just couldn’t resist. So please give a listen to “Flood on the Northside” a very soulful song with an almost vintage sensibility. We are very proud to bring this track to you. You will also notice that we have done a few updates on Ourstage. It has been awhile but we promise that we won’t be neglectful anymore. Hey again Ourstage community! We thank you for your kind comments and for listening in. Just wanted to give a couple of updates since it has been so long…

We are making steady progress to finish the album and will be done with the performances by this sunday. We are very excited about this album, it is sounding amazing so far and we have yet to mix it! If you enjoyed the few songs we have up on here then you are absolutely going to fall in love with our upcoming release.

As far as shows we have been on hiatus as we finish this album but we will keep you posted on a date and location for the album release as well as other shows we will be rocking. Thank you again for your support and please continue to check in with us. We will upload some tracks as soon as the mastering is complete.

The Afternoon Round

We are very excited to be a part of the Ourstage.com community! We are brand new to this even though we have been a band for some time. We have listened to alot of great music on here and our happy to have some great artists as our friends on here.

Just a couple of announcements…

We are currently in the studio recording our first full-length album. We have a few songs from our last EP, Not Enough Hours posted on here and we hope you like them, however we are capturing a different aspect of the band in the studio this time. The new album is going to be full of unforgettable songs that we know you all will love. We are recording at the awesome Pretty Suite Recordings in Ann Arbor, MI under the keen ears of producer/engineer Brandon Wiard. (www.prettysuitemedia.com)

The Afternoon Round has also added a new player to the mix. Zack Henderson (currently blogging this) has come into the band after being behind the scenes for so long. Zack will be playing pedal steel and guitar.

We will have new photos up soon featuring the new line-up as well as some in studio shots to document the recording of the up-coming album.

We are excited to meet new people/fans and develop some new friendships with other artists out there. We hope you enjoy the music and if you are in our area please come check us out at one of our shows we would love to see new faces in the crowd!
