John R Wyatt (check out my solo stuff under “Johnny Ray Wyatt”)
John R Wyatt, a singer/songwriter, and Ron E Hall met in January of 1986. Ronny, a guitar player, had had experience with writing in the past with bands like “Fury” who recorded their debut album in 1983. Johnny was experienced in writing and recording as early as 1981. Within a couple years he was involved with, (for personal reasons), an “un-named” band in Florida who went on to chart singles and tour, at one time openning up for Styx on their “Kilroy Was Here” tour. Ron and John started a band called “Repertoire” and mainly did covers. But the writing soon developed with songs like" Make the Best" and “Where Did We Go Wrong?” By late 1986 with a new drummer and bass player "Trauma " was born. 1987 saw the recording of “I Dream Of Your Love” followed the next year by “Sweet Home Cincinnati” and My Own Way". At the beginning of 1989 John left Trauma to pursue a solo gig. Trauma continued for a short time recording “Movie Queens”. By late 1992 Ron and John where back at it. Meeting and writing new material. With a new band, the CD that’s associated with this site is the culmination of those days that have continued up to now. Music written by Ron and lyrics/melodies written by John, they went into the studio and recorded “Rubicon”. Production of this CD started in 2008 and wasn’t finnished till August 2009. With Ron doing most of the Guitar work and John doing the vocals. With much more material under their belt they are preparing to record another CD soon.
