REMEDY-Spoken Word Artist, Songwriter, Actress, Model. Remedy, Cincinnati’s fresh new face for the entertainment industry and up and coming artist, uses her words to encourage, uplift and motivate those living in life’s harsh realities. Recently voted the 2008 Ohio Hip Hop Awards Spoken Word Artist of the year for the state of Ohio. Her recent performances include an appearance at Cincinnati’s historic City Hall for a Peace Rally and “The Vibe”, a monthly poetry segment where she was selected by one of Cincinnati’s well known Radio Personalities. Her performances at countless other venues has earned her a reputation as one of Cincinnati’s prolific artists. As a Songwriter, penning poems turned songs, her collaboration with other local artists has given her the leverage to expand her message to a larger audience. As an actress, Remedy made her stage debut in “Voices of Hope”, a stage production by the Cincinnati Holocaust Center. Her performance received rave reviews, and has sealed her a spot in the 2008 production. Remedy is no stranger to the camera and plans to explore her talent in modeling as well.
