Tea Ceremony was first set up by Danny Gras (producer, electronics, samples). In 2001 Elly Kellner joined him as vocalist and songwriter. Their sound is sometimes compared to Moloko, Lamb & Bjork.

Several guest instrumentalist were invited to add live sounds to the electronic tracks. Here are a few of them…

A try out gig took place in 2002, shortly after this Elly sadly decided to move country, forcing Tea Ceremony to put a halt to gigging possibilities. However, new songs were still created via the web. After roaming the UK for 3 years Elly has now returned to The Netherlands and again they have started working on new material. Tea Ceremony may continue under a new name….Watch this space!
