My name is Taylor Gary and i’m a sixteen year old singer/songwriter from Plano, TX. I enjoy listening to various folk and blues artists such as Jack Johnson and Ray Charles. When I was fifteen I recorded my first record which contained 5 original songs, one of which was recorded in my bedroom. I played all of the instruments myself. In that same year my EP was put on iTunes and has been up for sale for almost a year. I greatly enjoy writing and performing music. Since June of 2007, I’ve had a steady gig playing 2-5 times a week at sandwich shop called Potbelly Sandwich Works. I’m constantly looking for new places to play and I’m constantly writing new music so that people have something to take from my songs and can say things like “hey I’ve felt that same way before” or “that was me three years ago.” I’m very appreciative of my family for giving me all their support so that I can hopefully one day achieve my dream.
