Tammie served as a U.S. Marine Musician and pianist while stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. Tammie was featured as a vocalist and musician while serving her country.
Tammie’s career has been fun to watch. Since 2009, Tammie has received numerous nominations for the Carolina Music Awards Female Country Artist of the Year and was named the Queen City Music Award for ‘Female Country Artist of the Year’. Tammie's debut single "Tall Dark & Lonesome" spent thirteen weeks on the Music Row charts, and garnered heavy airplay on stations like WKML 95.7fm in Fayetteville, NC after being released to National Radio. In addition to her Music Row debut, Tammie's music has been added to Pandora Radio, several overseas playlists, and countless internet stations
The success of her single has led to Tammie headlining the Robeson County Fair, showcasing at the prestigious Friars Club in New York City, and to Tammie being invited to open for Charlie Daniels in Las Vegas as well as other shows including Taylor Swift, Bucky Covington, Billy Dean, The Oak Ridge Boys, Phil Stacey and Jeannie Seely.
Tammie’s first released CD ‘It’s A Beautiful Life’ was produced by Tim Sidden and Bruce Watkins at Hilltop Studios in Nashville is now available on iTunes, CD Baby, amazon.com and her official website.
