Today has been a wonderful day, a truly wonderful day. First I find out that my press release and a big photo of me is posted on the home page of http://www.mi2n.com for the day 17/10/09 Then I hear back from lots of people who were sent press copies of my album to actually find that they liked it! Weirdos…
I’m getting very excited about Halloween now and the release of my debut album on the 31st, I’ve put two new tracks from it up for you to listen to/judge “Cooper” and “DiFontaine” (the only track where I stepped out of line and tried something out of 4/4 lol)
Check out the album mini-site at: http://www.synoiz.com/ambients (you can download a free 5-track sampler of the album)
Also you can get a free limited edition CD of the album, check here for more details: http://www.synoiz.com/ambients/cd-offer/
“Long Lost…” is the first promotional single to be released by English ambient-electro artist Synoiz. Taken from his forthcoming debut album Ambients, “Long Lost…” is an affecting sensory, albeit melancholic soundscape of regretful ambiguity under pressure. Taking its unique sound from a combination of synth and sampled industrial noise, the single serves as a suitable introduction to what listeners can expect from the upcoming album.
To preempt the release of “Long Lost…” as a promotional single from my debut album “Ambients” I’ve made all three tracks from the promo available on Ourstage, they’re entered in Electronic, Experimental and Club/Dance so let’s wish them the best of luck.
Please give them a listen, especially the b-side “The Esoteric Order of Dagon” which is exclusive to and written especially for this promo. Look out for the single and music video release sometime in March hopefully!
After a bit of graft on my part you can now listen to the whole of my debut album “Ambients” on its new website:
Also if you want to you can download a free 5-track sampler (including the tracks “Ever Emptiness” and “Another World” which are two of my favourites). Please check it out and sign up for the mailing list if you can, Synoiz
Hey again, just a quick note to tell you that you can listen to a current mix of the new “Ambients” album, including the OurStage tracks “Andromeda” and “Long Lost…” at Last.fm, it would be a major help if you could give it a listen and send me some feedback.
