Raised up on a prairie farm in southern Alberta my country roots run deep. As a youngster Johnny Cash was my idol, and I aspired to ride the rodeo like my father before me. I picked up my first guitar around the age of 13 and it was about that same time that my Grandma (bless her soul) bought me a Nazareth’s Greatest Hits album thinking they were a christian band… I never looked back. Bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Uriah Heep, Rainbow etc, etc, were soon to follow. So although I consider myself a rocker, my writing styles vary and include folk, blues and country. When I’m not working on the STONECROSS project, I perform a one man classic rock tribute show called THE ROCK MACHINE.
All instruments and vocals performed by Ken Dionne.
