Steve Wright, an up and coming singer/songwriter from Ocean City, NJ, has been on his way up the musical ladder since writing his first song a year and a half ago, after only months of experience singing and a few years of guitar playing.

He has recently embarked on his first major musical project, a self-released EP entitled “…Too Long Standing”, which will produced by John Krauss, a producer and engineer at the multi-platinum award winning Cue Recording Studios in Falls Church, VA. With a Hopeful release date of mid to late-summer, “…Too Long Standing” will be just the start of Steve Wrights musical career. The song “Hardly There” will also be featured on quickstar productions compilation CD "Chill Out: East Coast Edition.

Steve Wright gained an interest in music after playing guitar at a friends house when he was 16 years old. 4 Years later, Steve formed his first band with best friend Davanh Vilayvanh called Cast Abroad. Unfortunately, due to distance, they parted ways in the musical world and Steve started his solo career and Davanh helped form the band Oxford Zodiac in Vetnor, New Jersey. Steve has recently started working with a band in Washington DC, but theres no set lineup or name yet.

Between the release of the new CD, the Chill Out: East Coast Edition compilation disk, the digital release of Hardly There, recognition from major and independent labels, and his upcoming band, Steve Wright is off to a pretty good start and will hopefully be reaching a town near you soon!
