Thanks a lot for the comment and nice to meet you too, Steve! Glad you like the music and please do listen again. Will have new stuff up soon. Cheers! /Nathan M.
So, I'm in this LNG plant in Wales singing at the top of my lungs "Baby can ride Ratllesnake and old Blue Bear Baby can ride one arm waving in the air!" And pretty soon I got about a half dozen Welshman doing the same thing! It was a blast (no pun intended) You Rock!
Many of the great songwriters from the 70's, like Jim Croce, and Harry Chapin, would be hard to define to a specific category as songwriters these days. Like you and I, and many others, they just wrote what they felt and it all came out sounding good, regardless of category labels. You're a damn fine songwriter. Just keep doing what you do and all will be well.

Just dropped by to tell you that "Baby Can Ride" is rapidly becoming one of my all-time favorites. Man that song is a BLOCKBUSTER. Have fun friend!

I use much the same approach to song-writing. I find your writing to be fresh and you avoid the "string cliche" approach.
All the best

Thank you for the friendship and kind words. "Take Your Time" has a really nice vibe and flows really well.
Best wishes to you,
