"Can you believe?"  From first listen of the anthemic 'Let Me,' the title track off the debut EP Dreams Begin, Statespeed will leave you wanting more.  Combining melodic guitar riffs, soaring vocals and a tight rhythm section Statespeed has crafted a pop-rock sound that has been compared to Anberlin and Augustana. Statespeed was formed in early 2009 by high school friends Jay Sarle (guitarist/lead singer) and Chris Schimpf (guitarist/keyboard). After the two graduated college, with a collection of songs written mostly by Sarle, 15 year old James Navarra joined them as the drummer. The three played a few shows and recorded a home demo before deciding to spend time on a recording that would better represent them.  In October 2009 the band headed to Washington D.C. to record Dreams Begin with producer Bryan Russell (Coldplay, Envy on the Coast).  Before the March release of Dreams Begin, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ted Rosedale was added on bass to complete the quartet. With a new record out Statespeed is ready to bring their music to audiences throughout the Northeast.
