I see that Thirteen's comment on my page supporting Aaron has been pulled...more OS coverup? Or perhaps Thirteen pulled it themselves...I think not.
OS is a forum for indie music...indie music is what it is, unsigned artists who speak their minds, create works of art in the field of music, and those who don't fall into 'normal' categories...if they did they would probably be signed by now, wouldn't they?
There is quite a large following of indie artists...ever ask yourself why is that? Because the asshole capitalists who run the labels are to scared to take a chance on 'different' types of music...they are just like OS...if you don't fit into a category, genre, or channel in OS case, you don't belong.
Well...I will not be the first to say that these artists that are misfits are some of the most talented at this site.
Anyone can copy someone else's sound and make it their own...it is those who choose to promote their originality who are the true artists...
Where would music be without those renegades such as The Beatles, Chuck Barry, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and so on...
Think about it.

My good friend Aaron (LSD and Tea Leaf) was kicked off this site for speaking his mind and voicing his opinions of the haters and how OS caters to these assholes...this is my rebuttal of OS tactics and Aaron's plea.

I agree Aaron lacks charisma when trying to get his point across,(telling support and the webmasters to fuck off is never going to grab their attention in a positive way) but, that doesn't invalidate his point, his complaints, or his right to be pissed off about the haters who seem to be catered to on this site.
I have the exact same complaints here as he did.
I am not as vocal as he and when I am I try to do it with tact and grace, but it seems to falls upon deaf ears, so...what is the lessor of 2 evils?
He was pissed and rightfully so, he is an artist...most artists aren't normal and a bit touched in the psyche, that is why they are capable of creating fascinating and unique works...works that should be celebrated and not discriminated because they don't necessarily fit into the mainstream genres or are considered the norm.
Indie music sites should NOT keep to "normal" genres,...Industrial and Gothic are 2 entirely different types of music...and I firmly believe that 'Just A Dream' should NOT have been kicked from that channel because it is in all rights Gothic and dark (OS didn't think it was dark enough in their own words to me).
I'm not going to kiss anyone's ass here and I shouldn't have to, neither should anyone else.
We are artists are we not?
They wouldn't tell Monet that they have enough waterlily pics in their museum...or they don't feel that his newest work quite fits his normal categorization...would they? I think not....this is no different, as music and it's creators are artists and that's that.

Sorry, the previous comment probably made no sense coming from me. rotflmao! I forgot to tell you, that Aaron's computer at the apple store, and the one he's on now uses an air card, so his internet is hit or miss, so he texted the message below to me, to send to you.

As far as the genres, I use exactly the same computer n browser, but I haven't found any limitation. Fuck, I even have my song Jedi Pimp in comedy. Try and go to the Judges Chamber. There's usually a dude who works here there, or you can ask the peeps on there. That's about all I know. What we need is a good ol shot of speed, and tweek the hell out of OS>lol.
