I didn’t choose the rap game,the game chose me!” ~Sho DERRICK MICAH WILLIAMS, Aka D/Duh-ble, born on December 21, in Milton (Mil-Town) Florida, the 6’2” artist loves song writing, basketball, football and video games. He currently resides in Pensacola, Florida. Derrick has been writing his own lyrics since the age of thirteen. Six months later he was the last member to join South Point. He grew up in a small section of Milton called “Ferris Hill”. Although he had a lot of good and bad times while growing up, he was able to express that in his songs. “I believe my rap skill, or should I say “our rap style” is very original. We don’t talk about selling drugs, killing, buying cars or rocking jewlry. So I believe that’s what makes us stand out from the rest. I put 100% in everything I do to further my future in this hip-hop business. My goal is to ‘make it’ and I won’t stop until it do.” ~Derrick D JONATHAN LAMAR JACKSON, Aka Prez/P.O.P. was born in Milton. Florida on January 16. As a child, Jonathan had a passion for singing that placed him in numerous church choirs along side his brother and most of his cousins. “In September 1996, I lost someone who was very dear to me. Shortly after that, I began to write hip-hop music. In my music, you will find a lot of pain and spirituality. My goal is to bring hip-hop back to life.” ~Prez
