Sonnifonic was formed when Grammy-nominated engineer/producer Tim Sonnefeld, formerly of Town Hall (Island Records) and his current project GANG (hotdogcityrecords), joined up with Scott Kollman, a versatile singer/songwriter from Philadelphia, and created the Sonnifonic sound. The vocals and harmonies lay in the hands of Mr. Kollman, and the sound that emerges is a unique blend of musical genres with lyrics that touch even the most hardened of souls. The Sonnifonic sound is hard to classify or pin down musically, but sounds very comfortable smack in the middle of today's fickle music scene. Sonnifonic has been kicking around the local spots in the New York/Philadelphia area simultaneously doing a bit of label shopping... These songs were recorded at Milkboy recording studios in Ardmore, PA and mastered at Scott Hull Mastering in New York by the amazing Dave McNair.
