In recent years, Sonal has recorded some demos, performed as a back-up singer, entered the occasional contest, and has even performed a handful of her own shows. Never though did she consider music as an endeavor she was meant to pursue…until now. During this defining stage in her life, Sonal is being awakened by a dream she never fully knew she had. There is no doubt that every experience throughout her life has brought her right here to this moment, where the music has made its way to the forefront and taken over.

With a strong sense of melody and an innate ability to harmonize, she is an instinctive songwriter who infuses catchy melodies within hip-hop and soul-tinged frames. Her writing style is unique yet accessible, mellow but possessing attitude, and she is able to capture the attention of those who hear her melodious and percussive sound. Set to release her debut EP in early 2009, Sonal’s personal journey has brought her to a place where she is ready and excited to reveal her songs and make a lasting impression on those who share her love of music.
