The So and So's formed in Dec 2009, Originally forming the concept for the band many moons ago Singer/Songwriter Richard Dutton is from the old seaside town of Cleethorpes he moved to Manchester in March that year dedicating his time to music, Here he found local talent in the rock-steady solidarity of drummer Zara Finnegan, and later in the enthusiastic multi-instrumentalist Jay Bardsley on bass. The So and So's formed in Dec 2009, Originally forming the concept for the band many moons ago Singer/Songwriter Richard Dutton is from the old seaside town of Cleethorpes he moved to Manchester in March that year dedicating his time to music, Here he found local talent in the rock-steady solidarity of drummer Zara Finnegan, and later in the enthusiastic multi-instrumentalist Jay Bardsley on bass. Together, they set about grafting a name for themselves with a none-too-subtle blend of hard work and mischief. Collaborating with Boz Boorer (Guitarist/Producer for Morrissey) in 2010 , the band released tracks from the sessions "First one off the waltzer and Unmistakeable You" and are available on itunes both tracks feature Boorer on Guitar. He also plays the georgeous saxaphone part on Unmistakeable You .. Other tracks from the sessions have been played on BBC Radio Manchester, and Tom Robinson of BBC radio 6 has been a keen follower of the band since the very start and has played all the tracks from the sessions on his weekly show. The So and So's are currently working on material for an album planned later this year and are about to embark on a tour of the UK road testing the new songs.
