Band History: Slateface consists of four, talented, experienced musicians. Slateface formed in spring of 2006, started by John Cherry. John, a seasoned guitarist/songwriter for 20 years, decided to embark on a new project. John contacted Mike Milano, a bass player of 10+ years, who just happened to be available and was itching to get back into a band. The two of them contacted a drummer that John had worked with in the past. Tony Panzarella, drummer of 15+ years, enthusiastically joined the group. After this, it was only a couple months of searching before the guys discovered Dan Gauvin, singer/guitarist/songwriter of 15+ years, who was just what the band needed to complete their sound. Since their uniting, Slateface has written and recorded in their own studio and is currently playing live around New England.
