Sister Gray - the name itself, explains a lot. At the heart of this group are two sisters, Jenesse and Brittany Graling. These sisters have been performing and writing songs since they were in elementary school and singing since before they could read. Growing up in the small town of Millet, AB Jenesse and Brittany spent all their time singing and writing, and putting on shows for their family. The sisters have come a long way since then. Both graduated from the MacEwan Music Program majoring in Vocal Performance. Jenesse and Brittany have performed all over North America, highlights including The Rainbow Room in NYC, The Convention Center in New Orleans, and the Renaissance Grand in St. Louis. Their sound is influenced by iconic female artists such as Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morrisette, Tegan and Sara, and Stevie Nicks. Their songs are a true representation of their lives and experiences, almost too much at times. (watch out ex boyfriends)! Sister Gray lives, eats, sleeps, and breaths music and is looking forward to the journey ahead of them.
