Sirensong is a three piece Grunge band from East Texas that formed in early 1994 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston,drummer Terry Barton and bassist Ray Tracey.The grunge band from East Texas unique style and sound is a direct result of such musical influences as Nirvana and Alice in Chains and the Seattle sound that is found in their unique music.Sirensong recorded and released their first CD “Survivors Can’t Pretend” in May of 1997 which included 10 studio tracks and in Febuary of 1999 they released their second CD “Relics” which featured 12 studio tracks both of which were recorded and mixed at Encore Studios in Nacogdoches Texas and distributed through Disk Makers as a independent label.The bands popularity has grown stronger since their early years as a up and coming grunge band from Texas.Sirensons’ 15 year career as a grunge band from Texas has grown stronger. The band is currently in the studio working with music producer Otto D’Agnolo at Chaton Studios in Phoenix Arizona on new tracks for an upcoming CD to be released late 2009 or early 2010 as well as the release of the bands DVD diskography chronicling the grunge bands past 15 years.
