*silencio* Hard rock/Metal Boston band formed in 2003 by guitarist Marvio and singer Marcelo Carboni. Silencio's combination of Marcelo's heavy metal edge with Marvio's unique hard rock/funky guitar style was what gave the band its unique sound. Other influences include Metallica,Black Sabbath,etc. New guitarist, Charles Squires joined the band in March 2006 and brought a more technical approach to the writing process which was very exciting to everyone. Silencio's combination of Marcelo's heavy metal edge with Marvio's unique hard rock/funky guitar style was what gave the band its unique sound. Other influences include Metallica,Black Sabbath,etc. New guitarist, Charles Squires joined the band in March 2006 and brought a more technical approach to the writing process which was very exciting to everyone. Needless to say Charles's and Marvio's different playing styles added a lot to the whole group, the energy was positive and the band was hungry for the stage. Bassist Doug Grey joined the band in July 2007. Due to his song learning capabilities it was quite obvious he was a perfect fit.
