A classically trained violinist and self taught guitarist, Steve brings a wide varying range of musical experiences, from performing in a symphony orchestra with violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman, to jamming onstage with Phish’s Paige McConnell at the legendary club Nectar’s.

The band Sidecar Agogo is the vehicle for fiddle-driven compositions which give a nod to bluegrass, Celtic, Latin, afrobeat, jazz and jamband influences. The band can be seen playing in the NYC area and Boston with its current lineup of musicians.

Sidecar Agogo are experienced musicians with festival experience on both sides of the Atlantic; Nearfest (PA), CalProg (CA), Berg Herzberg (DE) Zappanale (DE). Members of the band have opened up for or performed with Dave Mason (Traffic), 10,000 Maniacs, Ed Mann (Frank Zappa), Kerry Livgren (Kansas), Paige McConnell, Tom Marshall, The Dude of Life (Phish), Alan Gilbert (NY Philharmonic), Gene Pitney, The Moody Blues.
