Raised by a single mother, in the rugged streets of Harrisburg, PA; Shrizz Mac, 22 year-old MC, had one dream and one dream only. Raised in the "South Allison Hill" area of the city, Shrizz's souther rap style brings you a taste of Harrisburg's "Southern Hostpitality" with an up "North" twist. "I was raised out tha South Parks, right out there on Naudain... My pockets stuck out, like tha Hunchback of Notre Dame's..."-Shrizz Mac, growing up an 80's helped Shrizz's style in the "Hip-Hop" culture. He was raised by the sounds of "Hip-Hop" pioneers like; LL Cool J, Run-DMC, Slick Rick, and many more of the great legends that revolutionized the game of "Hip-Hop" like no other. At the age 4, Shrizz Mac started to get in-tune with his musical side. While playing with an old record player, he learned the ability to scratch on a turntable. Shrizz would Dj for friends of his family to songs like; Rob Bass's "It Takes Two". At the age 10, Shrizz's stepfather passed away in their home whom he was raised by since the age 2. It created a major problem within the household. Shrizz had to step up to the plate, and play the man of the house at an early age. Shrizz was forced to take that step in life, for the fact his biological father was never really a part of his life. Shrizz started to record freestyle verses over blank cassette tapes through a stereo box with a mic built in it. Rapping to beats such as; Master P's "Make 'Em Say Uhh" and other hot releases around that time. It became easier to catch the beat of music, as the MC got older. Entering his teenage year, Shrizz had gained street credibility through rapping on voicemail messages for his peers. After, going through a various number of local rap groups the young MC new that his only way to over come all his set backs in life was to focus on music even harder. Now, with the whole "717" on his back the young "Hip-Hop" artist "Shrizz Mac" feel as if he has to do what ever it takes to get his city "Harrisburg, PA" on the map.
