Shine plays a mix of harmony-rich original acoustic pop songs, along with music by popular Christian performer’s .With tight harmonies, ringing acoustic guitars and intriguing musical arrangements, Shine offers a heartfelt, passionate sound, all to lift up Jesus Christ as King.
Shine may be a new band, but its members are experienced musicians who have played in a number of local bands over the years.
Jenn Salmon is Shine's lead vocalist. She is an experienced singer with a theater background; she has sung leads in musicals such as "West Side Story," "Oklahoma!" and "Pacific Overtures." Jenn also performed at weddings, party events and various church functions. Jenn is also a songwriter who writes the lyrics to most of Shine's original songs.
Ed Koniowka is one of two guitarists in Shine and is one of the band's songwriters. He played in several Capital Region bands before becoming a part of Shine in 2005.
Bob Demers is the band's second guitarist.
Anja Barnes is the pianist for Shine. She joined the band in 2006 and adds much to the band's overall sound.
Kevin Webb is the drummer in the band; He joined the Band in 2007 after playing in numerous Capital Region Bands.

though my mind is restless and rebellious with unanswered questions, i am at peace with His plans and my role in them... for He is the essence of goodness. so, i will be faithful in the work He gives me... and endure the pain with which He blesses me in His infinite wisdom... knowing that he will use it all for the good of His kingdom. i trust is in Him when there is nothing else left. He gives me grace and pours out His love and blessings to all who call on Him.
