My name is Shianne Mariah Phillips. I’m 18 years old, I was born In England and moved to Canada when I was 4, I’m mixed with Jamaican & English. My goal is to be signed with a major label and be a huge singing sensation worldwide because singing is my life. I’m currently enrolled in ‘The Remix Project’ (www.theremixproject.ca) which is an amazing program, I’m working with Boi 1da and D10 as well as being mentored by Kim Davis. I grew up in a house that was always filled with music, mostly reggae and R&B, the singers that influenced me most were Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Etta James and Lauryn Hill. I Have a 4-octave range and can do whistle notes consistently, I sing every single day. I see music as colours. I can play the piano and guitar a little,I write and compose and absolutely love being on stage, I feel totally at home up there and know it’s where I belong.
