I’ve been just making more music, giving my home studio a revamp, and pretty much constructing what I would like to call a media blitz for my area. Stay tuned for new music.

We have a few events coming in for the summer. My Album, New Money Mixtape, we will be appearing a lot in our local club scene. I’ve been just making more music, giving my home studio a revamp, and pretty much constructing what I would like to call a media blitz for my area. Stay tuned for new music.

We just officialy became a label. Through this blog you are about to see the trials and tribulations of what starting a record label is like. What I have found out so far is that is a lot of work, PR, promotion, getting CDs pressed, marketing all that takes time and money. And then dont be good at making beats, that takes some time too.

So far we made an appearance at a studio jam, we are doing a show with one of my friends labels. Tommorrow I start a week long class and we are going to put a show on Public Access channels. So thats project number 1.

Project #2 getting a venue where we can do monthly events. Monthly Parties. Once I get the venue locked we are going to do promotion.

Project #3 Its a free mix CD right b/c we are just trying to get our name out. But promoting a free CD can take some work as well. You have to give people are reason to pick it up or take that cd off your hands.

Project #4 Fundraiser and Charities. I found a local charity. I want to help raise money for it. Big ups to P’Tone records and their after school program for the kids in our community. Hip hop has such a bad stigma. Hip is not all bad, its not all good either but definetly not all bad. So we definetly want to use our music as the vehicle to give back to charitable orgnizations. Thats what we were founded on. And lets tell the truth, if it wasnt for charitalbe orginzations some us wouldn’t be where we are today.
