About SheLoom

Pembroke, Canada

Filippo Gaetani and Jordon Zadorozny met in Los Angeles during sessions for the collective music project Digital Noise Academy. Like schoolmates, the two started sharing musical ideas and scraps of audio, discovering a shared musical vision, and developing a creative working relationship despite the distance separating them. Filippo resides in Europe travelling between Tuscany and Vienna and the duo continue to work online and meeting occasionally at Jordon's studio in Pembroke, Ontario.
SheLoom's sound could be described as a blender full of of Bob Welch era Fleetwood Mac, XTC, Todd Rundgren, Chris Squire, and Supertramp.
Multi-intrumentalist Jordon Zadorozny (guitar, bass, drums, piano, vocals) was frontperson for the band Blinker The Star, which reached its zenith with 1999's Dreamworks release, "August Everywhere". As a producer, he has worked on albums by Sam Roberts, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Ken Andrews, and most recently with Chris Cornell. His songwriting credits include Hole's "Celebrity Skin" and the Lindsey Buckingham produced, "A Nest For Two" included on the soundtrack for the film "Catch and Release".
Songwriter-producer Filippo Gaetani (bass, guitars, vocals) comes from classical, jazz, progressive and classic rock backgrounds. He has found himself on stage supportiong Miles Davis and Sting. He wrote soundtracks for independent movies and worked as an engineer and co-producer for some of the most talented Italian jazz musicians of the late 90's, including Stefano Bollani and Enrico Rava. In 1999 he had chart success as a songwriter and co-producer with the track "By Your Side", peaking at number 13 on the US Billboard chart. As a full-time producer, Filippo has worked with Andy Bell (Erasure), Phil Larsen (Kylie Minogue), Tessa Drummond, and Ken Andrews Digital Noise Academy. He recently produced Adrina Thorpe's sophomore release "Halflight and Shadows", mixed the Universal-Germany act My Excellence and Irish folk pop songwriter Peter Doran.

Jordon and Filippo share many influences, seamlessly moving from Beatlesque chamber pop to filmic art rock without too much thought.

"Seat Of The Empire" was released on June 22nd on iTunes through Minty Fresh label.
