I am currently DEEP into the arranging mode. I have a new collaborator – Oscar Barbin (songwriter & publisher) and we are cranking out a new collection of original tunes by him and a new CD for me. I have one CD (several songs are on www.myspace.com/shelialee) and plans for the new CD to include the written accordion arrangement for each to be published too. Mel Bay is publishing this collection.

It’s Time is a song I wrote and recorded the accompaniment – using my new Roland V7 Accordion – it has fantastic sampling sounds. That has gone so well – I added From a Distance and 12 other tunes that I can perform with LIVE.

I have performed for over 22 years with a small combo that played standards, ethnic & a little county for weddings, ethnic picnics, and clubs. I have also just opened a music school in Pasadena, TX (Named Houston Accordion Performers). We will be teaching Keyboard, diatonic, & chromatic accordion, as well as Folk Dance.
