Born in Boston and raised in California, Shannon has been singing all her life. Starting in third grade, Shannon fell in love with country music and started writing songs at the early age of eight. In high school, she traveled internationally as a featured soloist in her choir. In 2004 Shannon joined UCLA’s opera program, majoring in vocal performance. Shannon continued to write and sing her own music and after a year in the opera program she decided to focus exclusively on her own style. Currently, Shannon has just finished her first CD with Nashville producer Mark Moffatt. She recently won the country stage of famecast. In June 2008 Shannon will graduate from UCLA and will finally be able to pursue her singing career full time!
