Shanice is a essay winner at the Rally for Education competition, A finalist in the K104 and Driver Select Exceptional Student essay competition, A finalist in the Bobby Bragen Youth scholarship program for her essay about her role model in which she selected herself because of the positive things she is doing within her community to help encourage her peers through her own testimony and determination to make it. She has been involved in the girl scouts, The Debbie Allen Summer Dance camp, The Texas Girls Choir; she is a former student of the Booker T. Sparks school for the performing Arts. Shanice love sports and has been a member of her Golf Team, Track and Basketball team. Shanice received the up and coming writer achievement award, The Ann Brannon music award 9years in a row, also in English, and Math. This young teen is a bilingual songstress singing songs in Japanese, German, Italian, Hebrew and has been featured in the Fort Worth Star telegram as a participant of Apollo 03 and the LaVida Black voice at the age of 9 for being an outstanding youth on the rise. Shanice is the Spokesperson for Texas Teen Summit a non profit organization for teen musicians and has been featured on DFW Gospel Sounds on channel 5 Kpax station. She has been featured on local access station 28 on the Donnie B. Video Show , Tri TV Video Show, and channel 32 for various singing engagements for the Mayor of Fort Worth, Youth Empowerment festivals, and many concerts. Shanice has been involved in many talent showcases, competitions, Six flags performances, Rome by Night, Model Search America, Comedy Shows, The Pantene Total U tour, The Tampax Total U Tour with former Bet’s host Free from 106@Park. Shanice was invited to Hollywood 2004 to do a pilot with Actress/Comedian Mo’Nique from the Parkers. Shanice also represented Texas in the Little Miss. African American Scholarship Pageant in California. Shanice has performed for Steve Harvey and Stedman Graham.
