Shades of Skin is a Christian rock band from New England. Their high energy and deeply spirited performances have rocked New England venues in Providence, Boston, Worcester and all points on the compass in between.

Winners of the 2004 Palladium Battle of the Bands, Finalist of the 2006 Boston Battle of the Bands at the Avalon. Our venues have included the Middle East, Bill’s Bar, The Sad Cafe, Tj’s, G26 Ministries, SMASH2009-R U Red E Ministries, The Dream Center, The Avalon and the Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence.

Theirs is music that rocks the soul, with influences that transcend borders and differences, blend sounds and rhythms from around the globe, and pay homage to rock and blues roots, all with a fresh, contemporary overtone that is truly inspiring.

Shades of Skin has been invited to Nashville to audition for music executives in October of 2009, then back to New England, where they call home.
