Seven Seconds Of Fame is a Punk/Rock/Alternative band previously known as Rek Speks. The band was formed by Reed Hein and Glenn Miner in Winnipeg Manitoba in the summer of 2007. Shortly after they aquired Chris Nelson on lead guitar. In late 2007 they recorded their first demo called Thoughts In A Blender featuring the songs Punk Rock Girl, Meant to Be, and Scott The Slayer. Seven Seconds Of Fame is a Punk/Rock/Alternative band previously known as Rek Speks. The band was formed by Reed Hein and Glenn Miner in Winnipeg Manitoba in the summer of 2007. Shortly after they aquired Chris Nelson on lead guitar. In late 2007 they recorded their first demo called Thoughts In A Blender featuring the songs Punk Rock Girl, Meant to Be, and Scott The Slayer. In early 2008, they aquired Kyler "The Fridge" Kuehl to play drums. They are currently in the process of recording a new album. In August of 2009, Chris Nelson left the band. They then acquired Breanne-Elizabeth Martens to be the new vocalist. Glenn left the band at the end of September 2009. Shortly after, Scott "The Slayer" Loeppky joined the band to play bass and keyboards. The band's self titled EP was released on March 7 2010. The band is currently working on some new tunes.
