Born Geoffrey Norsworthy, known in the rap game as $ERVe. I’ve been rapping in Austin TX since 1993. Came from a gang and drug environment. Rapping was my way of fitting in, being part of the only white fam in the hood. I started hanging out and going to parties with gang bangers, and at these parties started rapping and kinda just fell into it deeper. In 1996 I got introduced to a guy named Mo Jam and started recording with Rated R Records in Austin. In 1998 I was incarcerated and that’s mainly where my passion for music expanded. While I had lots of time on my hands I basically taught myself how to put a song together. In 1999 I hooked up with Superstar Records with J. Kapone and put out a few albums: Superstar Representor, Hustle Simmonz, etc. Over the next few years I featured on upcoming songs with artists such as Set for Life, Black Sons, Doc Holliday, P.L.A., Pitbull Records, Lil Black w/ Nufsed Records. Also had an A&R from Universal Records fly down and meet w/me. In 2007 I released my first solo album, Well Trained Soldier, recorded at Cellar Door Studios. Since 2007 I’ve been doing shows all over Austin promoting the album. After getting my name back in the streets I met up with Michael Charles and worked with him on his new album Extacy. A couple of the tracks are on my music page. Like so many other rappers, I’ve learned the hard way that in this biz you can’t count on 90% of the people you meet who say they want to “help” you. So I’m doing my own thing now, launching my own label. I’m working on a new solo album, plus collabs with Je.c, Stevie D and others. I’m taking my music direct to the fans online.
