Seldom Seen, a Long Island-based recording artist, captures widespread audiences with his authentic blend of comical and witty rhyme schemes and fresh, fun “Hip-Hop” / “Pop” sound. Each rhythm and rhyme invokes energy that will pull you to the dance floor as well as paint a vivid picture of what it is like for a twenty-something year old enjoying life. At first glance he bears resemblance to Nick Lachey with the boy band charm, but as you listen to his music, you will realize he is a true hip-hop / pop artist of raw authenticity. Seldom Seen has earned his stripes as a recordingartist and entertainer. He has opened for mulit-platinum artists, Akon and B2K in Munich , Germany . While in Germany , he co-wrote “Sweat Tonight (Shake It Baby),” which was marketed as the theme of the official fitness routine for the Munich-based fitness company, Flexi Sports. He further gained popularity as he performed at fitness conventions throughout Germany to promote the song, gaining him sponsorship from Germany ’s K1X clothing line. He co-wrote the song, “Bring It On,” which is featured in the video game, “Narc,” for Microsoft X-Box and Sony Playstation. Prior to his international tour, Seldom released the hit single “Lemme Hit That”, produced by Pete “Jazdout” Weis of GNX Music, and was featured on the series finale of MTV’s Undressed.
He has been showcased at tri-state area camps,colleges, and nightclubs on Long Island , showing his versatility as an entertainer and artist. He has opened for Northern State , an all-girl Long Island-based rap group, and Roberta Flack. He co-hosted the Miss Venus swimsuit pageant along with Miss New York , Jaclyn Nesheiwat. He was featured on select dates of the Camplified tour in New York and New Jersey . Seldom Seen is not only “seen” in the tri-state area but also all over the US continent.
Seldom Seen’s popularity has gone beyond physicalborders, as he stakes his claim in the internet world. His debut album, “Gotta Be Seen,” was released on i-Tunes in April 2007, propelling his 1st single, “Stilettos,” to be picked up by 30+ stations in United States and overseas in just 5 weeks. Due to the recognition the single received it has given way for Josh Harris and the Klubjumpers to release dance mixes, accompanied by a video directed by Freddy Esposito.
