The band Gryphon exists thanks to craigslist and the infinite patience the co-founding members Brian and Ben had with flakes, non-responders, temporary musicians, and all around wastes-of-spaces who seem to make up the majority of posters on there. The co-founders, both from different music backgrounds and life-styles, but who coincidently are florida natives, started jamming and laying down the blueprint in January 2007. unlike every other band out there, Gryphon has gone through a revolving door of bass and drum players. luckily Pax and Jake, members since july 2007 and march 2008, respectively, came into the mix and all is well. Notable past players include Adam (was accepted in a university in Vermont, aka Washington-Light) and James (has his own auburn-based project.)
