Born in India and raised in New Jersey, actor Sam Ghosh is no stranger to performance. Growing up as an only child, he found it natural to entertain audiences for his own amusement. By the age of four, Sam was already a star in training—singing, acting and mimicking dance routines and the smooth moves he saw in Indian films (widely known as Bollywood). During his college years at Stevens Institute of Technology, Sam established himself as the energetic modern-day Renaissance man that he is today. On campus, Sam did everything from hosting the largest shows on campus to serving as a Resident Assistant. He was the director of the dance organization Pulse and produced his own films under his production company 5am Productions. Sam continued to audition for independent projects while pursuing a degree in Business and Technology. Upon graduation, he was offered a consulting job, but ultimately he declined the offer to pursue his passion for acting full-time. Sam has trained extensively with Terry Knickerbocker at William Esper Studio. Past theater credits include The South Asian Monologues at CenterStage NY and Cami Hall, Life Science, Desipina’s Seven.11 Convenience Theater at Abrons Art Center, NY, Universal Percussion Ensemble's The History of the Drum.
