Robert “Wadda” Drake

Born in Brooklyn New York Robert “Wadda” Drake moved to Houston at the Age of 12, he is the first child of Trinidadian immigrants, Drake is the embodiment of an seemingly everyday guy who has been motivated to do extraordinary things. Drake, discovered by the time he enrolled in Philadelphia’s Temple University, that his love for eclectic music and timeless musical classics along with amazing poetic proficiency and social consciousness (which made him a published poet at the age of twelve) had turned him into a lyrist the like the world has yet to behold, Drake is living proof that versatility and pure artistry is really what the rap game needs right now. His alluring voice and multifaceted style brings you in to listen to tales of everything from his actual life to world events and culture, creating a musical smorgasbord of creativity. Through his life experiences which includes enlistment in military, and growing up in three cities(Philadelphia, New York and Houston) with stereotypically distinct hip hop styles, Drake soaks everything around him in like sponge to make it his own. He has seen the effects of the other avenue of life growing up in three of the toughest some of the roughest areas in Houston’s Southwest Area, Brooklyn New York And Philadelphia. Though his craft is musical his blue-collar work ethic and sincere message delivers his brand of hip-hop to all those that will listen. He has built this worker like mentality with dedication to 100hr workweeks. His grind is just trying to be honest to people to whom he feels that all there lives that they have been “lied to”. All of this and more make Drake the perfect spokesperson to a new direction, while adding to the ever-growing popularity of southern hip-hop.

Please help out your fellow artist (I will do the same) by listening to/voting for my 3 newest singles "Trend Setta", "What I Would Do", "Evil Thoughts", and give me some type of honest feedback on the records individually. I would greatly appreciate this! Thanks a mill
