Robbie is probably one of, if not the most entertaining, unique and friendly DJ's that you'll be lucky to find in any DJ booth. Hailing from Belfast, Robbie prides himself on being “vontastic” for his uplifting house music coupled with sexy disco classics, thrown in for good measure. Successfully building himself a reputation as one of the hot young DJs in the country, he’s regularly capturing the bookings of the UK’s premier venues and music festivals. Step back over the last 4 years of Robbie's career. From listening to old mix tapes supplied by his older brother, trying to mix with two cassette players, getting his first set of CDJ's to eventually getting his first residency at the tender age of 17. Versatile, inventive, energetic and very passionate, he has quickly built up a fantastic reputation playing alongside the likes of Anna-Liisa (Estonia Pop Idol winner), Carl Kennedy (Ride the storm), David Holmes, DJ Misjah, Mark Cowan, Widenski and so on... fast forward to the present... Only at the age of 21, he is more determinate and enthusiastic as ever to progress further afield. It is his style which he likes to call “vontastic” (an collective mix of 80's / disco / house & deep music) and determination that has caught the attention of promoters both locally & internationally. BT1, Milk, Mono, Potthouse, Skye, TaTu, The Garrick, Thompsons, Yello are some of the clubs played locally by Robbie whilst internationally he has toured China, Estonia, Spain, UK & of course the glorious yearly clubbing capital Ibiza showcasing his remarkable talent. He also supports and promotes the highly popular radio show for Miss Moneypenny's on a weekly basis which is aired globally from HFM (Ibiza), Alpha Radio (Bulgaria), Push FM (London), SSRadio UK (London), Oasis FM (Teneriffe), Beat FM (Costa Del Sol), In Da Klub (Italy), Energy 107.6 (Greece).. “Officially All Ireland 2007 DJ Finalist for Corona Extra.” With his DJ profile rapidly expanding it is not just in the clubs where Robbie is causing a commotion. After his hugely successful remix of Martha Evan’s – “So Much Soul” reaching into the top 3 of the most downloaded remixes for the label on DJ Download. The Infadel’s “Love like samtex” was a experimental remix last year, but grabbed the attention of Judge Jules and other music professionals. His recent unsigned track “china” was played by DJ Disciple to a monster 3,000+ crowd in New York. Robbie has to thank these music professionals for their on going support throughout his career; Dave Lievense, DJ Disciple, Judge Jules, DJ Mag, I-DJ, Anne Savage, Jim “Shaft” Ryan to name but a few. In 2009 Robbie was shortlisted for “BEST CLUB DJ” here in Ireland by the fateawards (Northern Ireland's most celebrated red-carpet ceremony).
