Rese has had a passion for singing and dancing for over ten years and says his main goal is to make his fans happy, that is, satisfied, through his music and his mentality, just alone as a person. Rese has written over 20 songs in which he loves to perform amongst family, friends, and colleagues, when the time permits. He came about the name "Rese" from his middle name, Maurice, and "Mire" which comes from the word, “Admire.” In the Spring of 2008, Jonathan graduated from one of the most prestigious High Schools in southern California, View Park Preparatory Accelerated Charter High School, located in Los Angeles. He graduated with a 3.67 G.P.A. and began attending college the following Fall as a Freshman at Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, majoring in "Music", with a Minor in "Business." He is very trustworthy and always believes that nothing is possible without God!!!!!!! Aside from his other qualities, Rese Mire is original, hardworking and very determined as well as focus and mind-driven, and most importantly, humble. He is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, residing in California following the catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina; which Rese feel's was only a stepping stone for him to live his dream and become a better person mentally, physically, emotionally, and especially, as an artist. Prior to performing in various talent shows, while residing in New Orleans, Mire was given an invitation to perform a few songs, which also included some of his original, at Green Meadows Park in the Los Angeles area, for "Black History Month" in front of local greats such as Los Angeles Congresswoman, "Ms. Maxine Waters. Rese has also performed as well as auditioned in and for many other "Talent Extravaganzas," such as, America's Got Talent, Debbie Allen's Dance Academy, American Idol, and local Talent Shows, one in particular, Omega Phi Fraternity Inc.’s Talent Hunt back in 2006 and 2007 in which he won First Place for Outstanding Performance. Many constructive participants, influences, & mentors have created an incredible impact on Jonathan's efforts of success, such as, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Debbie Allen, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Usher, Mario, Stevie Wonder, and a true entertainer as well as Rese’s best inspiration, Beyonce' Knowles, just to name a few.
